Letter of Introduction (LOI)

Thank you for taking the first step toward partnering with the Birtcher Family Foundation. We are currently considering requests for calendar year 2025.

We provide grants for physical assets used in building seminaries, Christian schools and training centers.  We also provide some grants for the sustainability projects that support the ongoing needs of the local organizations.  Our focus is Christian evangelism and discipleship outside of the United States and all successful applications will address how their project contributes to the spread of the Good News.

Organizations who qualify for grants will meet the following criteria:

• provide evidence of tax exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the US Internal Revenue Code.
• are based in the United States and request funds for a ministry outside of the US.
• grants are for construction or equipment.
• 3-5 year plans increase the sustainability of the ministry at the local level.
• actively engage in Christian evangelism.

Please note that initial grant amounts are typically under $30,000 and may be offered in the form of matching funds.  Before completing this form, we ask applicants to carefully review our Funding Criteria and Exclusions listing.
